Richard’s Studio: Part 2

A visit to the new studio of Tuesday Night Drawing artist Dr. Richard Nicholas last Saturday — during the final weekend of the Santa Fe Studio Tour — made it obvious that he’s setting the bar high for those of us that would like a more comfortable, efficient, organized, and productive workspace. The large collection of art that was on view included oil paintings, encaustic art, and multi-color linocut prints.

Working on a large canvas: Rio Chama.

More beautiful canvases and work space.

Richard shows Robin his art, displayed on a poker table he had custom made in Bangladesh during his world-traversing career as a doctor.

More great art.

Checking every wall, nook, and cranny.

Great New Mexico landscapes.

Patricia looks over the neatly organized storage area of the studio.
