Dixon Studio Tour!

The 42nd Annual Dixon Studio Tour — Don’t Miss It!

This weekend — November 4th and 5th — you can visit the Dixon Studio Tour 2023. Iconic Santa Fe artist and Tuesday Night Drawing founder Eli Levin’s studio is a must-see attraction for anyone who has attended a Tuesday Night Drawing session. His compound of stone and adobe studios (including partner Abby Mattison’s jewelry studio) is the quintessential, northern New Mexico village, artist’s experience. Eli worked for more than 20 years building every structure on the property. If you haven’t been there, you’re definitely missing a memorable art experience.

The following photos were taken during the 2021 Dixon Studio Tour.

Visitors look through part of a large collection of paintings.

Eli — barely visible behind the wood-burning stove — has a great view from the top of the hill.

Another visitor is impressed with the amount of art in the studio.

This is the first building you encounter when you get to Eli’s compound.

The Eli Levin studio and the Abby Mattison studio are #1 and #2 on the 2023 Studio Tour map. When you see these signs, you’re very close. You can download a map at dixonarts.org. You can also pick up a printed map at the Dixon Community Center, behind the Dixon Cooperative Market and Deli at 215 NM-75.
